This is my latest and fastest mod of the LEGO Technic 42096 Porsche 911 RSR. It has 2 RC buggy motors, a Servo and 2 BuWizz units. Due to the increased weight is not as fast as the buggy motor mod of the 42077 Rally Car, but they are close 🙂
Continue readingA brand new tire for Technic trucks from the 76139 Batmobile set
I hope you enjoyed my detailed review of the LEGO DC Super Heroes 1989 Batmobile set (76139), now we take a closer look at the brand new tire that comes with it. How does it look like, how does it compare to the other tires we had so far and what might be the next Technic set where it appears?
Continue readingCheapest smartphone for LEGO – Xiaomi Redmi 7A
Since the introduction of the Boost system, the Powered Up and Control+ sets I read a lot of complaints about the smartphone requirement. People usually does not want their kids to use the parents’ expensive devices to play with LEGO. I decided to find the best option for a phone that meets the requirements of these applications but still reasonably priced and easy to get.

This is something you’ve been asking for a long time – here’s a brief presentation of the gear I use to make my videos. Apart from the usual equipment there’s a cool new item I am testing, an RC car chassis with a GoPro mount attached.
Continue readingGamepad control for LEGO Technic 42099 & 42100 with BrickController 2
The LEGO Technic 42100 Liebherr R 9800 and the 42099 X-Treme Off-Roader both have their dedicated control app called Control+. Although the app offers a lot of exciting possibilities it cannot be customized and some people (like) me prefer physical control over a touchscreen. The great BrickController 2 app solves this issue, you can use a gamepad that is compatible with your phone and control the LEGO vehicles!

UPDATE – The bug was fixed in version 1.0.3 of the Control+ app
When you are building the LEGO Technic 42100 Liebherr R 9800 set the app has a verification process built in after every batch of bags. This is a great addition because you can see whether the motors built in are working correctly or not.
Unfortunately there’s a bug in the current version as of 05/10/2019 (version 1.0.2 on both Android and iOS ), after the second batch of bags at page 367 you should only have one XL motor (color code red) connected to the hub in the superstructure.

Decoding the gearbox of the LEGO Technic 42110 Land Rover Defender
UPDATE – I created a detailed guide about the possible errors of the Defender with a guide to remove to body in a few minutes and other useful information, click here to access it
After my review of the LEGO Technic 42110 Land Rover Defender I received a lot of questions about the gearbox, how it works, does it really runs inverted, did I make any building mistakes etc. I decided to create another video to show the gearbox in details, demonstrate why I think it runs the other way around and give anyone a chance to take a closer look
at my build and find any possible errors.
