I managed to test successfully a method to export/import projects in the Powered Up app on Android, thanks to some helpful members from the Powered Up Community Facebook group who suggested the location of the project files on the phone.Continue reading
It’s weird to say this about a set with less than 500 pieces, but here is the flagship LEGO Technic set of 2020’s first wave, the 42109 Technic App-Controlled Top Gear Rally Car. It is fully remote controlled out of the box which is something we did not see in many years, at least for a non-off-roader car. So how does it perform? Check it out in the video!
50 years ago humans landed on the Moon for the first time on the 20th of July, 1969. LEGO is celebrating the 50th anniversary with the fantastic LEGO Creator Expert 10266 NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander set.Continue reading
I did a research recently to find the cheapest smartphone that you can buy new and works perfectly with the different LEGO applications, here’s the video about it:
There’s a Black Friday deal available for the phone in the video and also a slightly better one:
Xiaomi Redmi 7A for $79.99 at Gearbest with the coupon GBMI7AEU1 – Click here!
Xiaomi Redmi 8A for $87 at Gearbest with the coupon GBRMI8A01 – Click here!
I hope you enjoyed my detailed review of the LEGO DC Super Heroes 1989 Batmobile set (76139), now we take a closer look at the brand new tire that comes with it. How does it look like, how does it compare to the other tires we had so far and what might be the next Technic set where it appears?Continue reading
The LEGO Technic 42100 Liebherr R 9800 and the 42099 X-Treme Off-Roader both have their dedicated control app called Control+. Although the app offers a lot of exciting possibilities it cannot be customized and some people (like) me prefer physical control over a touchscreen. The great BrickController 2 app solves this issue, you can use a gamepad that is compatible with your phone and control the LEGO vehicles!Continue reading
When you are building the LEGO Technic 42100 Liebherr R 9800 set the app has a verification process built in after every batch of bags. This is a great addition because you can see whether the motors built in are working correctly or not.
Unfortunately there’s a bug in the current version as of 05/10/2019 (version 1.0.2 on both Android and iOS ), after the second batch of bags at page 367 you should only have one XL motor (color code red) connected to the hub in the superstructure.Continue reading
After my review of the LEGO Technic 42110 Land Rover Defender I received a lot of questions about the gearbox, how it works, does it really runs inverted, did I make any building mistakes etc. I decided to create another video to show the gearbox in details, demonstrate why I think it runs the other way around and give anyone a chance to take a closer look
at my build and find any possible errors.
The LEGO Technic 42099 4X4 X-treme Off-Roader is a very fun set to drive around, but it’s even better if we have company! I created this Power Functions mod to match the look and performance of the original.Continue reading
