Building instructions for the 42077 B model buggy RC mod with Power Functions L motors. You will need the original building instructions for the B model from Lego.
Where you see “Original steps x-y” please follow the original instructions. Click on the little arrow to expand each section for the instruction images.
Some steps are alternatives of each other. Please choose one of them to build, e.g. “AAA battery box / rechargeable battery box” or “AA battery box”.
Components and options for this mod:
– driven by 2 Power Functions L motors
– steering by Power Functions Servo motor
– Battery options – AAA/rechargeable/AA battery box
– Remote options – IR remote/SBrick
The RC mod uses mostly parts from the original 42077 set. Extra parts needed:
Since the instructions are available now I built the B model of the 42077 Rally Car as well. It is a buggy, following the design of the Beetle-based beach/dune buggies. The car does not have any special Technic features just the standard ones so I felt the need to spice up the review video a little bit 🙂 You can see all the motorized decorations in details at the end of the video.
Building instructions for the LEGO® Technic 42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger set, motorized with only parts from the 42095 RC Stunt Racer and a Power Functions Servo motor
To make the LEGO® Technic 42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger set fully motorized and remote controlled this modification only uses extra parts from the LEGO® Technic 42095 Remote-Controlled Stunt Racer, you only need to have a 88004 Power Functions Servo motor besides that!
Here’s what you need, I added some links if you have anything missing:

What will I get if I buy the building instructions on your site?
All of my remote control mods have high quality digital building instructions. You can download the free 42077 Rally Car 2WD mod instructions to see how they look like.
After the payment is completed, how long does it take to get the instructions? Do I need to do anything?
Once the payment is completed you get the link to download the instructions automatically via e-mail. Please make sure you enter your correct e-mail address during the checkout process. Sometimes e-mails can be incorrectly identified as spam, please also check your spam / junk folders. If you don’t receive the e-mail within an hour please contact me via info@racingbrick.com
Do you sell bricks or sets as well?
No, you can only purchase the digital building instructions directly on my site. The additional motors/parts for each set can be purchased in one pack via MOCHUB, or I can suggest to use the “buy parts” section of rebrickable.com, you need to scroll down on the specific upgrade pack page to access it.
Do I need only the motors to make a set remote controlled or other parts as well?
It depends on the pack itself, but usually you need some Power Functions components and some extra LEGO(c) pieces as well. The part list is accessible at the end of the instructions and also on rebrickable.com (linked on every product page).
If you have all the pieces needed then you can purchase the instructions only.
If you have the Power Functions components but you need the rest then you can purchase the “without Power Functions” upgrade pack from MOCHUB for the specific modification. The instructions are already included in the price.
If you need all the parts then you can purchase the full upgrade pack from MOCHUB, instructions are already included in the price.
This is my latest and fastest mod of the LEGO Technic 42096 Porsche 911 RSR. It has 2 RC buggy motors, a Servo and 2 BuWizz units. Due to the increased weight is not as fast as the buggy motor mod of the 42077 Rally Car, but they are close 🙂
As I am still weeks away from being released from the hospital to work on my reviews and RC mods, I thought meanwhile I will give you the chance to get all of my previous remote control modification building instructions in a single massive pack!
List if the building instructions included:
42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger RC mod with 42095 Remote-Controlled Stunt Racer + PF Servo
I hope you enjoyed my detailed review of the LEGO DC Super Heroes 1989 Batmobile set (76139), now we take a closer look at the brand new tire that comes with it. How does it look like, how does it compare to the other tires we had so far and what might be the next Technic set where it appears?
Please welcome my 42093 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with a nose job and fresh out the gym! Redesigned front and added details, fat rear tires, 2 PF L motors, 1 PF Servo and a BuWizz unit!
It actually became too fast for indoor usage so I added two gearing options that you can choose during building.
The upgrade includes:

Power Functions Servo motor for steering
Redesigned body
Powered / Controlled by a BuWizz unit – can be purchased here
