I know, I know, I should be working on the reviews for the new Technic sets right now, but I stumbled upon something that I had to share with you. Back in January after the Nuremberg Toy Fair we already knew some details about the 2020 summer wave of the LEGO Technic sets. We had to wait another 6 months to have official images about them, they first appeared in the LEGO 2HY catalog and a few days later additional official images were posted by some retailers. The latest iconic car model added to the LEGO Creator Expert line is the Fiat 500! Fans will enjoy the challenging building experience offered by this model kit based on the Fiat 500F legend from the late ‘60s, and will appreciate all the authentic LEGO brick details, such as the luggage rack with suitcase, detailed interior, and opening roof, doors, hood and tailgate.
The LEGO Powered Up system has great potential but the app has one major flaw – it has zero documentation available. I created a detailed code block guide that has all blocks listed in the current version of the app.

UPDATE – The bug was fixed in version 1.0.3 of the Control+ app
When you are building the LEGO Technic 42100 Liebherr R 9800 set the app has a verification process built in after every batch of bags. This is a great addition because you can see whether the motors built in are working correctly or not.
Unfortunately there’s a bug in the current version as of 05/10/2019 (version 1.0.2 on both Android and iOS ), after the second batch of bags at page 367 you should only have one XL motor (color code red) connected to the hub in the superstructure.
